  Program Highlight
  This programme is designed specifically for people who are interested in working in an accounting function in business or commerce, in entering the accounting profession, or finance.

During the programme you will become skilled at Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Auditing; and are able to undertake projects investigating the contemporary problems of Accounting.

Areas covered include financial management, taxation, auditing corporate governance. The degree seeks to ensure maximum exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ (CIMA) professional syllabi if the appropriate options are chosen. The degree together with ACCA qualification will give you the greatest flexibility in choosing your career, whether it is auditing, taxation, management accounting, financial reporting or management consulting that interested you.

      Honours Award
      Honours in the degree will be awarded based on the total mark of all courses in accordance with the University's course regulations.
     
      Entry Requirement
     
  • Diploma holders or with equivalent qualifications.

  • Applicants with other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

    • * Exemptions could be given to accounting diploma holders and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
     
      Delivery Method
     
  • Each semester is a 6-month period covering 2 courses of study.

  • Each course is providing with 66 hours of seminar. Students are expected to attend lectures 4 days a week

      Graduation and Degree
      Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the prestigious BA (Hons) Accounting degree of the University of Bedfordshire, UK.

    The degree will be the same as that awarded to on-campus students of the University. Graduates will be allowed to use the title BA (Hons) (Bedfordshire) after their names.
