*Exemption can be given to those already have 4th year of tertiary education, 2 units will be exempted and programme can be completed in 12 months. For details, please refer to Advanced Standing section.

	20 contact hours per unit
	100% taught by Monash academic staff with professional experience in psychology and counselling

Assessment Method

Each unit will be formally assessed by reports, essays, examinations and/ or case studies

Entry Requirement

	Applicants must hold an approved 3-year undergraduate qualification

	Additional Application Requirements: All applicants must submit a Master in Counselling Professional Referee Report Form which can be found at: www.education.monash.edu/students/prospective/howtoapply/postgraduate.html

Credit / Advanced Standing
Students are expected to undertake all 6 units in the programme content unless granted credit / advanced standing by the University.  Applicants may be eligible for exemption of the first 2 units of the program based on additional approved academic qualifications and/or recognition of prior learning

	Relevant Academic Work Successful completion of a minimum of an approved relevant 4th year qualification
	Relevant Non Academic Work  Applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements PLUS can provide evidence of a minimum of 2 years full time relevant work experience

Candidates who do not comply with the fee schedule will not be permitted to proceed with the programme.

Total Tuition Fee from AU$17,000, this programme is also eligible to apply for Non-means tested Loan.

Refund Policy

The programme allows for full refund of installment fee if withdrawal notice is received in writing by the Kaplan Higher Education (HK) Limited prior to the start of each of the terms. There will be no refund of installment fee if withdrawal notice is received after the start of each of the terms. All fees paid less application fee will be refunded if the course if withdrawn or not offered. On premature cessation of the course, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the course failing to be conducted on or after the date of the cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation.
