Teaching Mode

	24 face-to-face teaching hours per module
	50% of the modules are taught by UCD Faculty lecturers and professors, while the rest by international associates
	Each module will be delivered independently over a 9 week period. Each module is provided with 24 hours of seminars and workshops (6 consecutive sessions of 4 hours each) after office hours in the evening and/or over weekends/public holidays.

Assessment Method
Each module is assessed by:

	10% of pre-course assignment
	40% of main assignment
	50% of examination

Entry Requirement

	A minimum 2nd class honours degree in business or a related discipline; OR
	An honours Higher Diploma in Business Studies; OR
	A primary degree with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience; OR
	A professional qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience
	Applications may also be considered on the basis of work experience alone. In this case, a minimum of 3 years work experience in a business related area and at management level or above must be met

A sum of HK$2,750 is refundable if application is unsuccessful. For accepted applicants, this is not refundable.

Candidates who do not comply with the fee schedule will not be permitted to proceed with the programme.

Refund Policy

All fees paid less application fee will be refunded if the course is withdrawn or not offered. On premature cessation of the course, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the course failing to be conducted on or after the date of cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation.

The program allows for full refund of tuition fee (excluding application fee) if withdrawal notice in writing is received by Kaplan Higher Education (HK) Limited prior to the start of the term. There will be no refund of installment fee if withdrawal notice is received after the start of a specified term.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Master of Science degree program, which is offered by National University of Ireland, Dublin, in conjunction with Kaplan Higher Education in Hong Kong.

There are long established linkages between the National University of Ireland, Dublin and Hong Kong through the large number of our graduates in Hong Kong, many of whom are from the School of Business. We are pleased to make our MSc degree available in Hong Kong. The MSc is a specialist degree qualification with widespread international recognition throughout the business world, with UCD School of Business holding accreditations from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

Students on the program have access to the latest thinking and practice in their chosen specialism, and will have the opportunity to interact with some of the most prominent members of the academic community in Europe. No effort is spared to ensure the quality and relevance of the program. We hope it will serve to further strengthen the links between the University and Hong Kong, and indeed between Ireland and Hong Kong.

"I was attracted to the NUID Masters programme for a number of reasons - Firstly, I knew and respected the institution; secondly the content / lecturers and finally the programme structure. As with many of my fellow students, I undertook the MSc whilst working. I also have a son aged six and a husband that travels extensively in the region. Having taken my first qualification whilst working and knowing how taxing it can be, in order to enjoy as well as endure the process, I knew I needed to find some space in my work/home schedule.
